Strike on July 24, 2026
We would like to inform our valued customers that the national offices of CUB TRASPORTI and SGB have announced a 24-hour strike on July 24, 2026.
The strike has been called for the renewal of the National Collective Labor Agreement for Railway Activities.
Such a strike, if not called off, could cause delays or cancellations of train services during the following time slots:
FROM 12:00 AM TO 5:29 AM, FROM 8:31 AM TO 5:29 PM, AND FROM 8:31 PM TO 12:00 AM
It is also communicated that, for the previous year, on average 2.8% of the staff participated in strikes called by the same organizations.
However, it should be noted that:
- striking is an individual right constitutionally guaranteed, even if exercised collectively, and there is no obligation for workers to inform beforehand of their decision to abstain from work;
- a worker can join any protest even if they are not a member of the trade union that called or participated in the strike.
